Sebelumnya Abi pernah menderita tumor di hatinya, tepat 1 tahun lalu operasi telah dilakukan, tumor diangkat dan Abi bermain normal kembali, tetapi tiba-tiba FC Barcelona melalui akun twitternya @FCBarcelona memberitakan bahwa Abi membutuhkan transplantasi hati.
Saat itu saya sedikit bingung, kok sudah dioperasi dan operasinya berhasil masih harus transplantasi lagi ? tapi setelah cari-cari berita sana sini akhirnya tau kenapa Abi harus dioperasi lagi, ternyata karena itu bagian dari treatment Abi. Kemungkin Abidal kembali setelah transplantasi ?
